TAMAGOTCHI ADVENTURE KINGDOM COMMUNITY CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN

1. THE CONTEST

Hi Tama Friends! We’re having our very first contest for Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom (“Contest”). It’s all about creating your Tama camp in the theme of a “Tea Party” (“Tama Camp”). You can join the fun on our Discord, X (former Twitter), and TikTok channels! We’ll pick one winner from each platform, choosing 3 winners in total. The deadline to enter the contest is June 12, 2024, at 23:59 UTC.

2.  ELIGIBILITY

This Contest is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the start date of the Contest, and who are legal residents of Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. THIS PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Employees of Sponsor and its affiliates, vendors, and their respective immediate families are not eligible to enter this Contest.

3.  HOW TO JOIN THE CONTEST

1. Discord

Make sure you are part of the TAK Official Discord server. (discord.gg/tak-official) To join the Contest, make sure you snap at least one screenshot of your Tama Camp design and share it with us in the #tamacampdesignchallenge channel within our Discord server.

2. X (former Twitter)

Make sure you are following the Official Sponsor X account (https://twitter.com/BandaiNamcoMobl) X channel. Share at least one screenshot of your Tama Camp design, and make sure you use the Hashtag #TAKTeaParty when you post.

3. Tiktok

Make sure you follow the Official Sponsor TikTok account (https://www.tiktok.com/@bandainamcomobile) TikTok account. Ready to show the world your Tama Camp design? You must post at least one TikTok of your camp, either as a video or as a screenshot using the upload photo feature. When you post, don’t forget to use the #TAKTeaParty and tag the Official Sponsor TikTok so we can see your great work!

If you want to show more pics or tell us about your design, that’s awesome but not a must! Remember, you’ve got until June 12th at 23:59 UTC to share. Late entries will not be considered.

Limit one (1) entry per person. 

Please note that to maintain fairness, entries created through automated methods such as scripts or macros will not be eligible. We also ask that you enter only one; multiple entries, whether from different email accounts or other means will not be considered.

We are eager to see your submissions but do make sure they are complete and clear for us to read and understand, as they will otherwise be disqualified. Also remember that by entering the Contest, you are granting the Sponsor the property over your submission. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Any attempt to enter multiple times, including but not limited to using multiple email accounts, will result in disqualification.  Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified.  All information provided by entrants becomes the property of Sponsor.

Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, remove any entry if it determines that the entry:

•     Includes elements that violate any intellectual property rights or any other rights of a third party;

•     May offend public order and morals violate the human rights of any party, that the Sponsor otherwise determines is inappropriate; and

•     Violate these rules or are not otherwise suitable for publication.

4. CRITERIA

Here’s how we’ll pick the winners:

 If a winner cannot accept a prize as specified by Sponsor, the prize will be forfeited. In the event of a prize winner forfeiture or disqualification, Sponsor will select an alternate winner. If said alternate winner cannot accept the prize specified by Sponsor, Sponsor is not required to select another winner.

5. RIGHTS

By submitting your entry, you grant permission for your design to be shared within the Discord, X, and TikTok communities, and our other official channels for promotional purposes. By subscribing to the Contest, you hereby grant us a non-exclusive, irrevocable, sublicensable, royalty-free and fully paid, for the maximum period of time allowed by the applicable law, with worldwide geographical scope, and without limitation, the rights to represent, reproduce and adapt on all digital formats, distribute, public display and perform,  make available, and transform of any work and/or any other protected subject-matter arising from the Contest ( “Materials”), in order to exploit the Materials, by any means, including Internet, online media, social media, marketplaces, television, motion picture, new media, etc., and all allied, ancillary and incidental rights, in whole or in part, in all media, formats, modalities or means, whether now or subsequently known or developed, in any manner and for any and all purposes, and to grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. You will indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to a claim that your entry infringes on the rights of any Third Party.

6. PRIZES

Three (3) winners, one (1) winner from each of the three social media platforms, will receive a redeem code. With this code, you can visit the official Backbone website and pick out your favorite controller – choose between Lightning or USB-C, totally up to you!

The prize is valued at an approximate retail prize of $99.99.

Additionally, the winner on Discord gets a prize: a special Discord title which makes them pop out in the official Game Discord server, showcasing their victory and creativity to the community.

Limit one (1) prize per person. The winners will be responsible for any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes resulting from acceptance of such prize. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.  No prize substitution is allowed except Sponsor may substitute for a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. All prizes will be awarded. 

7.  REDEEM CODES

Remember, you’ve got until the end of the day on December 31, 2024, to use the redeem codes. Make sure you check the Shopify’s local time zone, so you don’t miss out.

8. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS

The Contest is subject to these Official Rules. By participating and/or accepting a prize, you agree: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules; (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Official Rules and/or the decisions regarding the winners; (iii) that Sponsor may prohibit a gamer from participating in the Contest of Sponsor decides, in its sole discretion, that such participant is attempting to undermine the intended operation of the Contest in any way; (iv) the prizes are provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind from Sponsor; (v) the involved social media networks (Discord, X, TikTok, and any other social networks that may be involved in the Contest) have no liability over any claims related to the Contest, including but not limited to loss, damage, or injury in connection with the awards, receipt and/or use or misuse of the prize or participation in the Contest; (vi) that the aforementioned social media networks are not responsible for any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials or contents associated with the Contest; and (vii) that any dispute or conflict arising from the Contest, will be subject to the Laws of Spain and shall be brought to the Courts of Barcelona.

9. PRIVACY POLICY

Any personal information provided by you will only be used for administration of the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy located at their website (“Privacy Policy”).

Notwithstanding the content of the Privacy Policy, the Sponsor will control your personal data for the promotional activities related to the Contest. Any information provided by you, such as name and/or user information shared by you through any of the social media platforms involved in the Contest, will be used for the purposes of the Contest, which includes facilitating the relationship with the participants, and to manage, administer, provide, enhance, and promote the services within the framework of the Contest, in accordance with the GDPR (as defined in the Privacy Policy). You will have certain rights under the GDPR, including the rights of data access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation, and portability. You can find more information in this regard in the Privacy Policy.
